Enjoying the nature and traditional Japanese “Omatsuri” festival

Hello! This is Shizuoka TaaS.
On Nov 5th, we welcomed a lovely family travelling from Colorado, US.

Wonderful picture at Shiraito Falls

During our 5 hour tour, we visited Shiraito Falls, Mt.Fuji World Heritage Centre, and Fujinomiya Sengen Taisha Shrine. On this lucky day, we saw a good view of Mt.Fuji, and there was also a festival held at Sengen Taisha which is the oldest festival on record at this shrine.

We were so happy to see our special guests enjoy their time at the festival, trying chocolate-coated bananas, Fujinomiya Yakisoba (fried-noodles), Takoyaki (octopus balls), and so much more 🙂

We are looking forward to seeing you again someday here in Japan!!
